BMI observes nine (9) paid holidays during the year, and full-time employees receive holiday pay after completing thirty (30) days of employment.
Our company is flexible and accommodating with regard to requests for vacation or time-off. Even if an employee has less accrued paid time off (PTO) than they want to take, BMI often approves these requests as time-off without pay.
BMI provides employees with a 401(k) Qualified Retirement plan through an employer match and an annual discretionary contribution. Employees become eligible following six (6) months of employment.
Full-time employees may enroll in one of our three medical insurance plans. Two of the options feature traditional PPO plans with a low annual deductible. The third option is a high-deductible plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA), to which BMI makes a generous quarterly contribution.
In addition to medical coverage, BMI offers a flexible dental plan that covers preventive care and basic procedures, as well as annual vision reimbursement to help with vision care needs for covered individuals. Employees become eligible for all health insurance coverage on the first of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.
Supplemental vision coverage is available to boost vision care needs for covered individuals.
All BMI employees may participate in our employee assistance program (EAP) immediately upon hire.
All conversations and records through the EAP are strictly confidential, and the full cost of this program is paid for by BMI.
BMI makes available to its employees the ability to purchase supplemental insurance through AFLAC. These plans are not paid for by the company but are only available to individuals and their families through their employers. Plans are designed to pay cash benefits for specific categories of claims in order to help employees and their families with ongoing household expenses and unforeseen medical expenses.
